US Open Qualifier El Macero CC

May 9th 2022

Kathleen didn't have her premium stuff on the morning nine holes but dialed it in on the remaining twenty seven holes to tie for 2nd place. Miss Scavo then went to a sudden death playoff against Abigail Leighton. They'd start on the wicked 6th hole where both managed pars. On the par three 7th Kathleen hit a sparkling tee shot just over the pin. She rolled that birdie in to qualify for her third US Open!

IOA Golf Classic Alacqua Country Club Longwood, Florida

May 20-22 2022

Kathleen shot 71 70 to make the cut and added a final round 71 to finish in a tie for 51st place.

Innova Mission Inn Resort & Club Championship El Campeon Golf Course Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida

May 27-29 2022

Kathleen shot 73 73 to make another cut. A final round 77 gave her a 56th place paycheck. A professional effort to make another cut even though she didn't have her best game.

77th United States Womens' Open Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club Southern Pines, North Carolina

June 2-5 2022

Kathleen's third US Open appearance started with a birdie on the very first hole. The weather was hot and so was Ms. Scavo's golf, -1 thru 12 holes and finished with a very solid opening round +2. She chased the +3 cut line on friday but couldn't manage a score that would have allowed her to play the weekend.
